Pro Trap is an established company that has been in business for over 15 years and is seeking techs for a wildlife control and pest managemnt. We service commercial and residential accounts. Our technicians are government licensed and well trained. We’re looking for talented individuals who are interested in taking their career to the next level.

Wildlife Service Technician

  • The job requires the successful candidate to work in confined spaces and attics.
  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with customers..
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team. High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Inspect buildings and outside areas of property to detect signs of wildlife.
  • Remove wildlife from homes and structures safely.
  • Repair wildlife damage and wildlife-proof entry points.
  • Provide professional customer service.
  • Work in all types of weather conditions.
  • Operate in confined spaces including attics and crawlspaces.
  • Be able to work at heights.
  • Use of power/hand tools, and various equipment.
  • Job assignments will include positions such as crouching, squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing up & down ladders, carrying ladders and other equipment.

Requirements

  • High-School Diploma or equivalent.
  • This is an outdoor job which requires the candidates to work under all weather conditions all year round.
  • Minimum Valid G driver’s license with clean abstract.
  • Clean criminal background check.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Working with ladders and at heights are a basic requirement for this position.​

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Hourly: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Pest Control Technician

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing accounts to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage a monthly route and ensure pest control needs are met.
  • Ensure that all work is documented according to policy and that updates to each job performed are completed daily
  • Be able to work alone and when necessary as part of a team.
  • Performing other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Valid Ontario structural pest license
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service and time management skills
  • Ability to manage and work as part of a team
